Dedication of the Return from the Argonne: November 11, 2021
The dedication of the Return from the Argonne memorial occurred on November 11, 2021 at 11:00am at Union Station, 300 Water Street in Montgomery, Alabama.
The sculpture is a gift to the city of Montgomery from the Croix Rouge Farm Memorial Foundation through the generosity of Nimrod T. Frazer whose father (William J. Frazer, 167th Infantry Regiment, 42nd « Rainbow » Division) fought in the Argonne under the orders of Douglas MacArthur. This statue of a dead soldier returning from the Argonne memorializes Alabamians who fought in the Meuse-Argonne campaign as well as all the Alabama Veterans of World War I. It was dedicated on Veterans Day 2021 to honor the service of Alabama veterans.

La Rainbow Division Veterans Foundation sponsorise un voyage unique en France pour célébrer l’histoire de la bataille de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale de la 42e Division «Arc-en-ciel». Centennial Commemoration of the Departure of the 167th Alabama Regiment (Rainbow Division) to France

On August 28, 2017, a bronze sculpture of the Rainbow Soldier from British sculptor James Butler, RA, will be inaugurated in front of Montgomery Union Station from where, on that date 100 years ago, the 167th Infantry Regiment left Alabama to join the Rainbow Division and sail for France. This gift to the city of Montgomery is made by the Croix Rouge Farm Memorial Foundation through the generosity of longtime community and business leader Nimrod T. Frazer, Silver Star.

Maxwell Air Force Base Sculpture Dedication

On April 6, 2017 a bronze sculpture of Daedalus from British sculptor James Butler, RA, will be inaugurated at Maxwell Air Force Base on West Drive to commemorate the centennial of the WWI and the WWI pilots for whom the order of the Daedalians was established at Maxwell AFB in 1934. This gift to Maxwell AFB is made by the Croix Rouge Farm Memorial Foundation through the generosity of longtime community and business leader Nimrod T. Frazer, Silver Star.
